First snow of the year in Breck!

So Winter showed its first tease early this year! There is still a week of august! So I got a text from a buddy this morning saying "good photo op there is snow on all the peaks!" I was just about to eat breakfast still oblivious to the white goodness outside! So I run to the window and damn sure enough the entire 10 mile range from about 11,000 feet and up was covered with snow! Wahoooo! I was just thinking yesterday that we are only 45 days or so away from the Basin's opening!

So I grabbed my gear and jammed up to Baldy to snap a few shots. I got one I'm pretty stoked on of the ski area and a early morning shot of Mt. Quandary
