Two updates in one week? Crazy!

So Teddy, Davis and I decided to go out to the BC again today and check out this old mine site. This started off pretty horrible, Teddy decided to rally his sled up this little bump only to overshoot it right into a buried creek bed. Thankfully we were only about 50 feet from the parking lot and could get Davis's truck close enough to tow the sled out. Here's a quick shot of Teddy's smooth move. So after a good half an hour pulling the sled out we make it out to the spot to find out that as awesome of a location it was it did however face South so the snow was crusty and sunbaked and just not what we had hoped for. But not bad enough for us to pack back up and drive out. So we make do and try to get shots on the jump but it was just to weird to make it work so we decided to just ride off the mine instead of jumping over it. This definitely saved our day. Its not the biggest feature ever but the it was very photogenic. Davis was throwing clean front 3 tails and Teddy was getting some nice indy tweaks.

Backcountry day!

Finally got into the backcountry! Teddy, Davis and I got out on Teddy's sled with probably 100+ pounds of gear strapped to the back and Davis being towed behind. It was an adventure to say the least. The sled tipped once flooding the engine and ruining the spark plugs so a lil detour in replacing the plugs then after about 15 minutes we were back on our way. The jump spot was a sweet location only a few miles out on the trail. The landing is a little flat making some of the tricks hard to land. Davis killed it on his first hit ever in the back country setting down a clean cab 5. Teddy was throwing front 7s off of the jump all day but the more and more he tried the landing kept getting more and more beat up. The landing just wasn't steep enough to set one down. He did get a cab 5. I did get a shot of it but the ambient caused some motion blur. My personal favorite shot of the day was Davis's front 3 stale poked out like a man. Also I'm adding a few shots to the lifestyle gallery from the bc they should be up later so check them out.

Keystone Pt 1

I love weather. It never co-operates. We went to Keystone yesterday hoping to get some sweet sunset shots and it was decent weather most of the day then right at sunset the clouds roll in along with snow. God bless Colorado. The good news is we have a shoot setup later this week at sunrise. So here is Johns shot on the Keystone sign.
